How Much Do Veneers Cost?
Veneers are a more affordable and much less invasive alternative to crowns, and work by fitting over the front of your teeth. They’re custom-made to fit your smile, with plenty of color options available so that your teeth look every bit as natural as before.
The cost of total treatment for each patient who receives veneers can vary, but our transparent fee guide makes understanding where veneers fit into your budget easy. Our fees for both our ceramic and porcelain veneer are $995, because at Vista Dental we believe quality cosmetic dentistry can be affordable, too. We’ll work closely with you to ensure cost transparency and affordability at every step in the process.
Types Of Dental Veneers
Our practice offers two different types of dental veneers:
Porcelain Veneers: These are thin shells made of porcelain that are custom-made to fit over the front surface of the teeth. They are strong, durable, and have a natural-looking appearance. Porcelain veneers are a popular option because they are stain-resistant and can last up to 10-15 years if they are cared for properly.
Composite Veneers: These are made of a tooth-colored resin material that is applied directly to the tooth and shaped to cover any imperfections. They are less expensive than porcelain veneers, but may not last as long since they are more prone to staining and chipping.
Our cosmetic dentist will be able to recommend the best type of veneer for your individual needs and goals.
How Long Does it Take to Get Veneers?
The length of time it takes to get dental veneers can vary depending on several factors including the number of veneers needed, and the complexity of the procedure depending on each patient’s unique case. At Vista Dental, most cases can be completed in 2-3 weeks and within 2-3 appointments.
Typically, the process of getting dental veneers involves multiple appointments. During your first appointment, our dentist will discuss your options and determine if veneers are the right treatment option for you. Then, the dentist will take impressions of your teeth and prepare them by removing a small amount of enamel to make room for the veneers.
After that, the impressions will be sent to a dental laboratory where the veneers will be custom-made to fit your teeth. This process can take up to two weeks or more. Once the veneers are ready, we will schedule another appointment to have them bonded to your teeth.
Overall, the entire process can take between two to three weeks or longer depending on your individual needs. Our dentist will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of how long the process will take after seeing you for the initial consultation. A set of temporary veneers will be applied to the teeth before you receive your permanent veneers, so you can go on about your day smiling in confidence.
